Positioning the Key to Your Inner Melody

You’ve got a colorful pet bird who sings and hums happy tunes all the time. And although you have spent the past three hours looking at its beautiful colors and listening to its tunes, you reach a crucial point, determined by a crucial question:

Where would you put the bird cage?

Surely enough you would not want to place the bird cage inside your room where the bird could wake you up way early than your scheduled time, nor the living room where your conversations with your visitors could be disturbed – no matter how beautiful the singing could be. You take the bird cage and roam around your house and you find yourself at a loss for answers.

Stop worrying. Here are some suggestions where you could conveniently place your pet bird’s cage, with you making the most of its music, but without the unnecessary hassles.

At the front porch. Imagine the joy of coming home with your pet welcoming you with melodious greetings. When you have visitors who have to wait outside, your pet could also serve as your hostess. Children would flock your front porch as the bird sings, with you probably reading a book or enjoying a cup of coffee at a nearby bench. The possibilities are endless for a wonderful welcome. Besides, Chinese feng shui says that having a bird singing at your front porch is a source of luck, that is why a lot of people buy artificial singing birds to charm luck into their homes. In your case, the luck would just flow in naturally – as seamless as your pet bird’s humming.

At the kitchen. Cooking is therapeutic – the concept has been reiterated in psychology books and self-help guides. But you could take cooking to the next level when you prepare your dishes with the melody of your pet in the background. Veer away from watching television when cooking. Reduce the sources of stress. Imagine yourself in the old suburban setting. You could even whistle a melody with your pet. A bit of caution: make sure that your pet’s droppings are securely being collected in the bird cage. Clean the bird cage often, if possible, daily. You don’t want your kitchen smelling like anything but a fresh home-cooked meal.

At your study area. It could be your library, or anywhere you find yourself closest to your most productive state. The natural melody coming from birds allows your mind to function in a rhythmic manner, which enhances your memory and keeps you at a constant pace of work. Soon you will find your pet bird replacing your playlist. Studies could even vouch for the new kind of energy you will have with regard to your work. And at that point, when you are reaping the rewards of your pet’s music, do not make it sing when it does not want to do so, just so you could be more productive. Be nice.

It has been said many times that getting a bird for a pet links us to the inner music that we do not hear every day. Some music, some melody, that only the natural could rediscover for us. Your pet bird is a way of reconnecting with your soul, the natural current of your body where energies will flow endlessly. So take heed in considering where you would put your pet’s bird cage. Just always remember that the wonders of its music would not come if you are unable to properly care and love it.
